Write a formal letter

Dear Sir o Madam I am the captain of the basketball club in Banyoles, Catalonia. The name of the club is The Banyolins. I am writing to you because we are planning a tournament and we are looking for sponsors.

The tournament will take place in London in May. Teams from 23 countries and fans 20,000 are going to be in London for this event, and I think t
hat it will be good publicity for your company.

Oral Presentation: The Royal Wedding.



PRESENTATION
We made a powerpoint with photos of the Royal Family, for got more attention of the audience and did a funny the presentation.
We spent around 4,5 minutes.

BODY LANGUAGE
I was nervous and I looked to the public but I read a little bit.

STRUCTURE

We organist the structure chronologically.

CONTENT
The information was correct,we show photos of the people we were talking and we used exempels .

LANGUAGE
We spent a lot of time making the content and revising the grammar. I think it was correct, and the vocabulary was rich too.
In a few moments we repeated some words and I pronoune bad because I was nervous.

PHONETICS
I pronounce all the words properly, but I was very nervous and some words maybe I didn't pronounce very well.







I made ​​a power point but the page is uploaded wrong. Later I'll try to hang on another page.

Robin Hood

a. Did Robin Hood really exist? Robin Hood is one of the world's favourite legends.There are parts that are true but most doesn't.

b. What was he famous for? Because he was rich and the poor helped me all he could.

c. Where was he from? Robin and his men lived in Sherwood Forest near the town of Nottingham.

d. Can you write a few lines about the story?

-His real name was Robert.
-Robin Hood was born near the end of the 12th century.
-Robin is opposed as always by Sir Guy of Gisborne and the Sheriff of Nottingham.
-Is very skillful with the bow and arrows.

Zapping: Idiot of the month

A man blew up his bathroom and severely burned himself after trying to kill a spider that had scared his wife. Chris Welding, a computer engineer from Essex,England, sprayed the spider with aerosol deodorant as it wen behind the toilet. As there was no light in the bathroom, he then took out a cigarette lighter ti see if the spider was dead. The flame ignited the aerosol gas, causing giant explosion. The spider was never found =)

Albert:How did that happen?


Solà. It was an accident. I fell while I was playing tennis.

Solà: No, I think it'll be OK.

BREAK DANCE

Break dance history: Breakdancing started in the Bronx, New York, in the 1970s. DJs played hip-hop music in the streets. When there was a pause or "break" in the music, dancers invented new moves. A new style of dance was born!



Girl dancers:
Most breakdancers are boys or "b-boys". Girls who breakdance are called "b-girls".

Graffiti:
Many breakdancers do grafitti to express themselves. It is illegal, but some people consider it as art!

Famous breakdancers: Today,many singers breakdance in their music videos. Justin Timberlake and Madonna breakdanced on cars in their video to 4 minutes To Save The World!

Turtle:
This is a difficult move. The breakdancer supports his body on this arms and elbows and turns in circles.

Spin: There are many diferent types of spin. The "back spin" is when the breakdancer turns very fast on his back.

Freeze:
You need to be strong to do this move! THe breakdancer "freazees" while balancing in difficult positions, like on one hand!
